Random Things...
Dan and Tamra Coughlin moved here a little over 2 months ago... Their precious little baby joined them Feb. 22. We all enjoy having them around. We celebrated the birth of baby Kaeb at our house Sat. and had a baby shower! Games at the shower... try feeding someone a pudding cup with a blindfold...
Food is always a good way to celebrate...
Another activity we did lately... the girls put together some Action Packs (with items such as towels, blankets, etc.) to send to persecuted countries. We read many stories from the Voice of the Martyrs magazines, and they were all amazed at the courage of Christians around the world to stand in the face of persecution...
Please pray for God's work at CVE, that we would be instruments of His love and that the kids will come to understand God's great love for each of them.

Valentine's Dinner and More
We had a Valentine's Dinner for the girls on Saturday... They all had a great time and loved the food! They are not picky eaters at all which is nice...
Karla and Lupita... Please say an extra prayer for Karla. She has a desire to serve the Lord. She is showing a huge interest right now in Bible Study and really wants to follow Christ.

School Trip
We recently took a trip to Hermosillo, a big city to the south of Magdalena. The middle school kids got a day off from classes and we loaded into the 15 passenger van to make the 2+ hour drive. We took a tour of a private christian school that includes all grades from kindergarden up to high school. Then we made our way to Costco to stock up on some supplies and have lunch. The kids really like the pizza that they have, and it is pretty good from mexican pizza. It is really hard to find good pizza down here, especially when we get spoiled on Chicago-style deep dish!
Fede, Jaqui, Uriel and Michelle eating lunch.
After lunch we went to a children's museum that was in the middle of a huge park. They also have a water park, paintball, and rides, but much of it was shut down for the winter.
